Mr. Senngwon Yang, Korea
Course: General English + TOEFL

Hello my name is Senngwon and I come from Korea. Fort Lauderdale is a place where if you can kill two birds with one stone: You can study English and also play at the beach! I will miss the weather, my new friends and the lifestyle here – it is so different! I have good memories of LAL Fort Lauderdale. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. I love my classes, my teachers and the nice social atmosphere. It is a good school and I would recommend it!

Ms. Maria Conchita de la Torre, Peru

Course: Business Minigroup

Hola, my name is Maria and I come from Peru. I come for English lessons, as I need it for my work, as a marketing manager for a big hotel chain. I am taking Business Minigroup class, so that I can learn specific vocabulary I can use at work. I like that we are only 4 in the class, so we can share ideas and strategies and practice our English with each other and our teacher. It was easy to make the reservation to come. I was met at the airport by a very friendly lady who took me to the transfer bus and told me all about the school while we were waiting.

Mr. Mustafa Altunay, Turkey

Course: Academic Year

Hello my name is Mustafa and I am from Turkey. I have been at LAL Fort Lauderdale for 5 months. I am doing the Academic Year Program. Since I have been here my English has improved a lot, I feel more comfortable speaking with my new friends I have met here while attending classes.
I have visited many places in the USA and I can say that Fort Lauderdale is a great place to study. Americans who live here are nice, the weather is great and the school's location is very convenient. My host family is really friendly and I am learning new American recipes to take home with me.

Dont just learn it - Live it!
