LAL Language Centres (LALLC) is a group of English language schools offering courses for adults and young learners in England, Malta (under the IELS brand), South Africa and the United States.

LAL is a long-established organisation with years of experience in meeting the needs of language students worldwide. All our schools are accredited by national validating organisations and play an active role in improving the quality of products and services.

As well as the attractive seaside locations of Torbay, Fort Lauderdale, Cape Town and Malta, LAL's newest school in London is in Twickenham, by the River Thames in the Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames – one of the capital's most popular 'villages', and we offer further choices for Young Learners in summer schools and summer camps.

We are committed to the highest possible standards of teaching using skilled and experienced teachers. LAL has a long-established track record in teacher training and our schools in both Malta and Torbay are providers of the DELTA programme – the highest qualification for practising teachers of English as a Foreign Language. We also attain accreditation for our courses by national bodies in each country.

Each of our adult language centres offers you the opportunity to stay with a local host family, which is a great way to experience the local lifestyle and to practise your language skills with native speakers in an informal environment.

All our adult centres offer the alternative of 'residential' accommodation which offers you independence and flexibility and the company of other students. LAL Cape Town, LAL Fort Lauderdale and IELS Gozo have residences on site, while others are within easy reach of the schools. We can also arrange hotels and hostels in many locations.

We support and care for our young learners from the moment they enrol to checking them in at the airport on the way home.
