| New LAL partner schools in Canada for 2008 We are delighted to announce that in the 2008 we have added two partner schools in the exciting and ever popular destination of Canada. Study English in Canada, Inc (SEC) has schools in Toronto and recently opened in Vancouver. Students joining SEC find themselves having many options from the beginning of their studies. There are three distinct pathways that will lead students towards their personal goals. The first one is the ESL Pathway which is for students who are interested in improving their grammar and oral communication skills in a friendly and enthusiastic environment. Second is the Business Pathway for those who are interested in preparing themselves for jobs in the real world by focusing on the language, skills, and theories of the International Marketplace. Finally there is the Academic Pathway which was designed to help students achieve their academic goals and challenge themselves in College or University programmes. Check out more about SEC by visiting their website or email us! back to top |

The climate is fantastic where one can spend the days soaking up the winter sun laying on the beach. Watching the World famous Sardine runs off the coast. Most of all come and meet the diversity of the Durban people. Learn English with the best and practise it out with the local population on the many cultural and exciting activities that can be done here in Durban. LAL Durban offers an exciting city tour that gives a comprehensive and fact filled overview of Durban. The tour has a large cultural feel as you move through each quarter of the city. The main highlights include the Temple of Understanding {a place for Krishna Consciousness}, the apartheid museum, known as Kwa Muhle Museum, Indian market, traditional Healers market, Killie Campbell museum and loads more.
