The right choice! Just when I was arriving at Mgarr Harbour I started to have a good impression of the environment. Now three weeks after, with a light knowledge of the whole island, with such a nice experience meeting these kind people, from teachers and colleagues to local people, and with so many delightning things to remember, I can suggest to have an English course here. Something betweeen holidays and learning which allows everyone to take full advantage of the lessons, and relaxing and going to fantastic bays, trekking, riding bike at the same time.

I came to LAL Gozo because after two years of university my written and spoken English weren’t as good as they used to be. That is why I chose to come to Gozo. To me, it was the perfect way to improve my English and as well to spend some nice holidays on a wonderful, peaceful island. I haven’t been dissapointed.
I spent some wonderful moments inside and outside the school. The lessons were very interesting and helpful and the staff was also friendly and very professional. But it is as well the occasion to make some amazing meetings with people coming from all over Europe and to discover the treasures of Gozo by way of the activities proposed by the school but also by yourself. After 3 weeks here, I really have the feeling to speak a more fluent English and to be perfectly relaxed to go back to Paris.

I needed to improve my English for my job and for my life. I thought that Gozo was a good compromise between school and holidays. And it happened that it was indeed a very good idea!!!! The quality of the school is very good, teachers are professionals and friendly. The little island is very beautiful, his beaches and his landscape are unforgettable. People who live in Gozo are very polite and it’s easy to make friends and there are also a lot of opportunities to have conversations in English.
Now I have to come back to Italy but I leave here a piece of my heart!!!

I decided to go to Gozo on the recommendation of a friend. I have been looking for an English course especially for adults as I had already participated in other courses in other countries and languages before where most of the students had been so much younger than me.

I enjoyed the lessons with both of my teachers and I was very happy about the warm reception by the school’s director. I took part of several leisure activities, such as yoga, an intro-diving – both for the first time – and I discovered every beach or bay on this lovely island with a rented bike.

Whatever I did I was surrounded by friendly and helpful people – and so I learned a lot about the Gozitan way of life, too.

Dont just learn it - Live it!
