Leisure programme at LAL St Cyprian's
Activities take place both during the day and in the evenings, and are supervised and guided by our Activity Staff.
The Activity Staff are also available for the students to approach if they have any questions or problems of any nature (host families, illness, general information).
Activity Staff are responsible for the organisation and the welfare of the students in their particular group. The groups are generally of mixed nationalities in order to encourage the students to speak in English rather than their mother tongue and to make new friends and learn about other cultures.
Sports
St. Cyprian’s School can provide the following:
- Large indoor sports halls (Basketball/Indoor Hockey/5-a-side Football)
- Basketball & Volleyball court (inside and outside)
- Hockey and Soccer fields
- Outdoor swimming pool
Other activities
Computers can be used for contact with family and friends. Times are controlled by the group leaders.
Drama/theatre, films/DVDs, Karaoke, various indoor/outdoor games and board games.
Excursions
Each week period includes two full-day and four half-day excursions, admissions included where applicable.

To be booked and paid for prior to arrival (limited numbers):
- Robben Island
- Action Paintball
- Horse Riding
- Skydiving
- Sand boarding and many more
Other extra excursions/activities can be arranged by LAL Cape town at an extra cost.
