This course deals with modules 1 & 2 of the DELTA and integrates classroom practice with understanding of language systems and learning theories, and combines classroom training with study of theory. Assessment is through Assignments and a final exam.
LAL Torbay has developed a refresher course aimed at qualified English language teachers whose first language is not English and whose job it is to teach English to Primary, Secondary and Tertiary students. The general course structure will provide teachers on the course with the opportunity to observe our own teachers and take part in peer teaching. In this way, feedback and information exchange sessions can be incorporated into the syllabus.
