We are looking for the following staff
at our residential centres:
Programme Co-ordinators - responsible for the Leisure aspect of the course
Senior Teacher - responsible for the Academic aspect of the course
Assistant Senior Teacher – to assist the Senior Teacher and teach
Welfare Officer - responsible for the Welfare aspect of the course
Administrator - responsible for the Financial and Administration aspects of the course
Residential EFL Teachers & Non residential Teachers- responsible for delivering dynamic and interesting lessons & assisting on the leisure programme
Activity Co-ordinator /Activity Leaders Residential & Non-residential - responsible for leading & assisting on activities & excursions
House Parents - responsible for the welfare of students in residential accommodation
NB Teachers are NOT involved in bed-time duties

Non Residential Teachers (Torbay only)
Welfare/Accommodation Support Assistant for Torbay (from 15 June to 31 August 2008) - The role of Accommodation & Welfare Support Assistant is one of high responsibility, directly concerned with the well-being of overseas adult & junior students. This requires the post-holder to take overall responsibility for the preparation, installation, operation and outcomes of the students' welfare both on and off site. Application Form.
Teachers MUST be mother-tongue or mother-tongue standard, with a good knowledge of British culture, Cambridge CELTA or Trinity TESOL qualified (or equivalent) and a University Degree (or equivalent). Teachers with additional skills and languages are particularly welcomed.
All other positions are open to anyone who has a very good level of spoken English and the necessary documentation to work in the UK. LAL cannot enter into sponsoring or other applications for work permits/visas.
