Many students coming to learn English in Malta choose the General English Course which aims to improve your competence in general English. The course provides systematic practice in the four main areas of language learning: reading, writing, speaking and listening.

Summary of courses

Standard General: Many students coming to learn English in Malta choose the General English Course which aims to improve your competence in general English. The course provides systematic practice in the four main areas of language learning: reading, writing, speaking and listening.
General + Private 1:1: This course is ideal for combining the experience of learning the language in a general English group whilst at the same time receiving individual classes.
Beginners: The Beginner English Course starts every first Monday of the month and is ideal for learners who have little or no knowledge of English.
Premium: 20 lessons per week, max 6 students per class, all levels. This premium course is for students who are highly-motivated and looking to maximise their progress in a short time but still have time to enjoy Malta. Small group learning with a maximum of 6 students per class means more individual attention and increased opportunities for improving English fluency.
Minigroup + 1:1 Private: This is a highly intensive programme with 20 General English lessons per week in small groups in the mornings combined with a personal tuition programme of 10 lessons per week in the afternoons.
Minigroup: This is the name for Premium General English at IELS in 2010.
