One of the most successful independent schools in England, St Swithun’s is located in England’s old capital, Winchester, a city steeped in history with a marvellous cathedral as its centrepiece.

It is the perfect location for students, easy to get to, just an hour from London and other must-see destinations such as Stonehenge, Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Club and the university city of Oxford, and the school is very close to the sea and the Isle of Wight.

Most of the accommodation is in single rooms, but there is the option of larger multi-bed sleeping accommodation for younger students. St Swithun’s facilities are all first-class, with a purpose-built sports hall, large sports fields, tennis courts and a modern indoor heated swimming pool. We are introducing, as an option, a tennis school with qualified LTA coaches leading group sessions.
