Taunton School has 6 accommodation houses:

Wills, Murray, Glos, Hospital, Fairwater & Thone

Each house has a payphone and students can phone home using phone cards purchased from the school office. Parents can leave a message on the office telephone/fax machine (the number will be confirmed with the students travel documents). Please advise students to phone their parents once they have arrived at the college to assure them they arrived safe and well.

Dormitories have between 1 – 6 beds, though predominantly they have 2,3 and 4 beds. Each student has a single bed (some of which are bunk beds), a wardrobe, and a set of drawers. Rooms are either lockable or there will be provision for a lockable space. Students are advised to leave expensive items in the main administration office.

Full board is included in the package price with packed meals provided for excursions. Menus offer a varied, balanced, healthy diet, with all produce supplied from local farmers and butchers, freshly cooked on site

Students are required to provide a GBP 50 refundable deposit against loss or damage of equipment, keys, keycards and/or furniture.

Towels are NOT provided, but bed linen is supplied, and is changed weekly. Rooms are cleaned daily from Monday to Friday.
