Leisure Programme
St Swithun’s leisure facilities are all first-class, with a purpose-built sports hall, large sports fields, tennis courts and a modern indoor heated swimming pool. We are introducing, as an option, a tennis school with qualified LTA coaches leading group sessions.

St Swithun’s can provide the following:
- One large indoor sports halls (Basketball/Badminton/Indoor Hockey/5-a-side Football)
- Outside volleyball court
- Marked grass pitch for football or hockey
- Indoor heated swimming pool (lifeguard always in attendance)
- Tennis courts (x8)
- Common Rooms with indoor games (pool, table football, table tennis)
- Extensive fields for football, rugby, cricket, baseball and rounders
- Arts & Crafts
Other activities
Art Café (T-shirt, light bulb & glass painting), radio-controlled car racing, drama/theatre, films/DVDs, film making, Karaoke evenings, discos, various indoor and outdoor games e.g. boules, board games.
- Excursion to Salisbury
Excursions
In each two-week period, included in the package, there are two full-day and two half-day excursions. Destinations will include Stonehenge, Salisbury, Oxford and there will be a full-day excursion to London every two weeks. Students who stay for 4 weeks will also get an additional full-day excursion.
Extra excursions/activities can be arranged by LAL Summer Schools at an extra cost of no more than £30.
