Table Mountain
This unique flat-topped mountain offers exquisite views of the whole Cape Peninsula, rugged mountains and an exotic blue ocean. Around every corner, there’s a view to enthral. Table Mountain cableway station is a 10-minute drive by mini-bus and 4-minute cableway ride to the top. District Six
Once the colourful and vibrant home to thousands of Capetonians of various cultures until they were forcibly removed by the 1966 Group Areas Act. Boulders Beach/Penguin Colony
A thriving African Penguin colony lives in the fabulous surroundings of Boulders Beach. Relax on the beach for a few hours in the company of these fascinating and amusing birds. The beach is at Simon’s Town, approximately 30km from Cape Town, and can be reached by car or by bus.

Organised trips outside of Cape Town
We also provide full information about safari tours that the students can book at our centre. These tours, organised by leading local tour operators, include 16 day overland safaris to Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia and shorter tours to Zululand. Most of these tours start in Johannesburg. Other destinations include the West Coast with the West Coast national park, Langebaan and its myriad of water-sports, 4x4 trails and sand-boarding.
During the spring you can see the incredible Namaqualand Daisies, a natural phenomenon of unsurpassed beauty. However if this all seems too much like hard-work then maybe you could just lie back on one of the many sun-soaked beaches and relax.
