There is plenty to see in this part of England, and LAL Torbay's excursion programme can help you to explore our beautiful region. Each week LAL Torbay runs a programme of reasonably-priced tours to a range of attractions across the region by day with evening trips to sample the local nightlife.
You can visit historic towns such as picturesque Dartmouth, eco-friendly Totnes and the fishing port of Brixham as well as university cities such as Plymouth and Exeter or historic cities such as Bath, which has welcomed visitors since Roman times.
You can discover ruined castles, explore caves or experience the wild open spaces of legendary Dartmoor. You can also find hidden beaches and stunning views along the South West Coast Path from Torbay. Take time to visit beautiful historic houses and sub-tropical gardens or enjoy the atmosphere – and a pint or two of local beer or cider – in a traditional pub. Of course, no-one should visit England's Westcountry without indulging in a delicious cream tea.
Travel a little further and you can visit the championship surfing beaches of Cornwall and the rugged cliffs of Land's End.
An example of a typical excursion programme is shown below. The programme changes every week, and you can find out more about our excursions, including what's on this week, in the LAL Torbay Guide for students.
