These courses are ideal for those students learning English in Malta who want to improve their English to achieve real language fluency in order to study or work in an English speaking country.

 

In 2011 these programmes include university placement service, progress tests and tutorials. Premium long-stay programmes also include four private tuition lessons per week. Students on Premium Academic Long-stay programmes of 12 weeks + receive a free netbook computer to keep.

 

Many students coming to learn English in Malta choose the Long-stay Standard General English Course which aims to improve your competence in general English. The course provides systematic practice in the four main areas of language learning: reading, writing, speaking and listening.

 

The first session concentrates on stabilising and improving present knowledge of grammar and vocabulary. The second session is fluency based with the objective of improving communication skills and helping students to gain confidence in spoken English. This course is ideal if you want plenty of free time to explore Malta and soak up the local culture.
