This option allows maximum flexibility and can be added to any of LAL's programmes. Private tuition gives you the opportunity to focus on individual needs – extra work on pronunciation, vocabulary building or English related to your business or professional life. We even offer a web-based course so you can study at home, or improve your English further before or after a traditional course.

General Private Tuition

Whatever your choice, you can enhance your experience even further with One-to-One tuition. Students may choose to take private lessons associated with their profession such as legal, medical, or journalism English (ESP or English for Specific Purposes).

Intensive Private Tuition

In our 1 to 1 programmes, students discuss with their tutor which skills they would like to develop, and in doing so devise their own personalised study plan. A programme of 20 or more private tuition lessons per week can be taken as a complete study course, or linked with other courses. These lessons are ideal for those students who wish to deal with specific aspects of the English language and can design a course with their teacher that caters wholly to their individual needs.

English for Two

Two students can enhance their experience even further with English for Two - private tuition for two students together. Students may choose to take lessons associated with their profession such as legal, medical, or journalism English (ESP or English for Specific Purposes).
