LAL Cape Town has its own Travel Centre to help you discover Cape Town and the surrounding area.

Top of the list of attractions must be Table Mountain, which rises high up above Cape Town. The countryside around Cape Point is filled with fynbos, a unique vegetation which has the greatest diversity of any of the floral kingdoms.

Just off Cape Town you can visit Robben Island and see the prison where South Africa's first democratically-elected president, Nelson Mandela, was imprisoned for eighteen years. If you want action, you can find the full range of outdoor activities here in South Africa, from paragliding from Lion's Head, through diving with sharks and riding ostriches to white-water canoeing. You can also explore the region on foot or mountain bike, or even hire a Harley Davidson motorbike.
