Cambridge Exam
The University of Cambridge Certificate examinations are among some of the
most widely-recognised English language qualifications in the world. If your
English level is between intermediate and advanced you have a choice of three
Cambridge exams - First Certificate (FCE), Advanced (CAE) and Proficiency (CPE). We also offer the Cambridge TKT – a four week module for those who want to teach EFL and the Cambridge BEC, a suite of internationally recognized business qualifications. Three times a year - to coincide with fixed exam dates worldwide - a choice of either a 12 or 8 week preparatory course is available at our school (the programmes include 12 or 8 weeks of tuition plus 13 or 9 weeks of accommodation to include the final exam week).

TOEFL
The route to successful entry to many US and Canadian Universities and many other higher educational institutions is a high TOEFL score. Monthly preparatory courses are offered. These courses focus on providing you with the specific exam techniques to achieve the TOEFL score you require.

If you work in the commercial sector a widely-recognised business English qualification is the TOEIC exam. A high TOEIC score is valuable evidence of your English language competence in the business world. Our partner school in Toronto offers preparatory courses for this international qualification.

English & Work (EWP)
Study Business English Language skills then apply your skills in a Co-op work placement. Through this program students will receive a unique combination of study and work experience. In EWP students will build up confidence and professionalism, as well as improve language accuracy. SEC provides paid/non paid internship at the Vancouver campuse.

LANGUAGE PRODUCTION (LPP)
This course will engage students in producing accurate language through the use of media stimuli. Students focus on hands-on production in areas such as film, television and newspapers. Student presentations are recorded to continually check language production accuracy.
