CLASS INFORMATION
Teaching Methodology
SEC integrates General English and Intensive Speaking classes through the SEC Syncro-System (SSS). By synchronisation students are able to understand the function and application of each grammar point and are thereby able to engage in a real-world approach to teaching. Whether your aim is to attend a Canadian college or university, enjoy an internship position at a Canadian company, or improve your everyday English – SEC has a pathway just for you.
Our Classes

Our Teachers
SEC Inc. only employs teachers with recognised teaching qualifications such as TESL Ontario, TESL Canada or their equivalents.
Many of our teachers are also certified with the Ontario College of Teachers and the majority have numerous years of experience teaching ESL abroad and in Canada.
First Monday
On the first Monday morning students are expected to come to SEC’s reception, at this time they will be directed to the appropriate testing location. All new students will be welcomed by our SEC Toronto staff. The students will be assessed to determine their grammatical knowledge and fluency of spoken English. They will then be placed into classes with students of a similar aptitude. After testing, they will be provided with a full orientation session describing the school, the courses and the location. The students will also have an exciting city tour, focusing on the main attractions located in the closest proximity of SEC Toronto. Students are introduced to the Director of Studies and the staff who are responsible for their welfare and leisure activities.
