The Academic Long-stay programmes are ideal for those students learning English in Malta who want to improve their English to achieve real language fluency in order to study or work in an English speaking country. Our Long-stay Programmes consist of a course length of 8 weeks + (16 weeks + in 2010)

In 2010 all students on the Long-stay programme are given monthly progress tests and a written report from their teacher.  Levels start from beginner english upwards.

In 2011 these programmes include university placement service, progress tests and tutorials.

Many students coming to learn English in Malta choose the Long-stay Standard General English Course which aims to improve your competence in general English. The course provides systematic practice in the four main areas of language learning: reading, writing, speaking and listening.

The first session concentrates on stabilising and improving present knowledge of grammar and vocabulary. The second session is fluency based with the objective of improving communication skills and helping students to gain confidence in spoken English. This course is ideal if you want plenty of free time to explore Malta and soak up the local culture.

In 2010 students on the Long-stay Programme can change to a Business English or Exam preparation course if they reach an intermediate level, depending on availability of these courses.
