I have been in Malta for 9 weeks and I am surprised with the island because despite being such a small island, there are many interesting places to visit and the people are very kind and helpful. I have met a lot of students at the IELS leisure activities and am so satisfied and happy with the course I have done.

It’s a real experience
Going in a foreign country is the best way to really learn and practice English. You can learn, meet a lot of people, make a lot of friends and discover another culture! It’s a real experience which is beneficial for everyone.

I´m Fahad from Saudi Arabia. I´ve been at LAL Torbay for nearly 6 months. I´ve had lovely students from different countries. We have had a wonderful time at LAL. We spent all the time together. We spoke just English and we helped each other to improve our English. The school has a really good system of teaching foreign students and I recommend anyone who wants to study English in the UK to come to this place for learning.

What can I say about my stay at LAL Cape Town? It will be difficult to write about my 3 months in the FCE class because then I´ll have to write a book on how mesmerising it was for me. I enjoyed being in the same class with the same teacher, "Mr John", who was a remarkable teacher for me. I can recommend it to anyone. We improved certainly our English and became like a real family quickly.

I came to South Africa because I wanted to improve my English because it is important for my career. I really enjoyed the course specially our teacher. My English improved extremely. I have had a great time in Cape Town. It is certainly one of the most amazing places I've ever been to. I can say also that the activities were excellent. I think the time with LAL South Africa was the best experience in my life.
